Sean Michael Landry

Lafayette - Memorial services will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Zoom Photo Studio, 205 W. Vermilion Street, No. A, in Lafayette, or Sean Michael Landry, 47, who passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016, in New Iberia. Sean was born on January 19, 1969 in New Iberia, and worked as an assistant manager at the Game Stop in Lafayette. He was a graduate of North Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas, and the University of North Texas, where he received his Masters Degree in Creative Writing. An avid writer, and vinyl record enthusiast, Sean loved music, literature, science fiction, and comic books. Survivors include his parents, Daniel "Rick" and JoAnn Comeaux Landry of Leland, North Carolina; brother, Craig Landry and wife Kristen of Athens, Georgia; uncles, Russell Landry and wife Kay of New Iberia, Earl Landry and wife Jean of Coteau, Wilton Comeaux, Jr. and wife Nancy of New Iberia, Gerald Comeaux and wife Carolyn of Coteau; aunt, Gloria Hughes and husband Royce of Lydia. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francis Diner, or any local homeless shelters or food banks.
