Sean Lee Ricks

New Iberia - Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM, on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Sean Lee Ricks, 47, who passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016, in New Iberia. A committal graveside service will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM on Tuesday. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Sean was born on July 11, 1968, and was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High. He was a carpenter and his hobbies included fishing, woodworking, hunting, cooking, and gardening. Survivors include his mother, Mary "Tootsie" Breland and husband Terrell of New Iberia; father, Clyde W. Ricks of Galveston, Texas; sons, Warren Ricks of New Iberia, Andrew Ricks of West Monroe; daughter, Allyson Ricks of Pineville; sister, Farrah Huval and husband Jeremy of Youngsville; grandchildren, Aidan Ricks, Lillian Ricks, Camron Ricks, and Bryson Ricks.
