Shae was a lifelong resident of Cecilia, Louisiana. He graduated with honors from Cecilia High School - Class of 2015 and was a member of National Honor Society, Beta Club, President of the Student Council, and reigned as the 2014 Homecoming King.
Shae's love for sports started as a Dolphin football player. Shae played football and baseball for 4 years, and track for 2 years. For each sport he was a team player and motivational speaker. Shae was elected Team Captain in football. He was the founder and first recipient of Cecilia High School Football Shae Stelly 12th Man Award and earned the St. Martin de Tours Baseball Scholarship. After graduation, Shae acquired his certification from the National Federation of State High School Association to be employed as a Non-Faculty Coach at Cecilia High School. Serving three football seasons as a running back coach and mentored up-and-coming pitchers as the Freshman pitching coach of the Cecilia High School Baseball team. Shae will forever be a Bulldog!
Lives changed because of the knowledge Shae shared and the love he gave everyone! Since a young age, Shaes pride for his community was demonstrated by being inducted into the Henderson Police Department as an Honorary Police Officer, a member of the Henderson Volunteer Fire Company, Prince of the Shriners Circus as a member of Shriners Children, and State Ambassador for the Louisiana Muscular Dystrophy Association. He served as Grand Marshall of the Henderson Mardi Gras Association.
Shae enjoyed opportunities to explore the great outdoors through Trinity Outdoors and Empowerment Outfitter Network. One of Shae's lifelong dreams came true when the Make a Wish Foundation granted his wish, by meeting WWE Superstar "The Rock"! Wrestling was a passion he followed his entire life!
Shae had many nicknames: Frost, White Lightning, Doogie, Soda Pop, Big Frog, but a stranger was never a name he could be called. A boy at heart, Shae always believed nothing was better than his mama's cooking. Grannie's touch could heal any ache and pain, and friendships were the best medicine! May all who knew him continue fighting for the GREEN & GOLD BULLDOGS!
