Shane Anthony Adams

New Iberia - A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday, February 3, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Shane Anthony Adams, 29, who passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017, in New Iberia. A gathering of family and friends will be at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM on Friday. Rev. Andrew Champagne will officiate. A native of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, Shane was born on May 31, 1987. He was a resident of New Iberia, and a Deckhand with Louisiana Marine Operators. Shane was sweet, kind, loving, and funny. He was very mechanically inclined, and liked to fix things. He loved all things outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and riding motorbikes, but time spent with his family is what he cherished most. Shane is survived by his mother, Michelle Caruso of New Iberia; father, Richard Wayne Adams of Pottsville, PA; paternal grandmother, Dolores Dawn Adams of Pottsville, PA; sisters, Asia Adams Louviere and husband Derrick, Ashley Adams, and Holley Henry, all of New Iberia; brothers, Alan and Cody Adams of Pottsville, PA; two nieces, Madyson Louviere of New Iberia, and Stasia Adams of Pottsville, PA; three nephews, Gauge Louviere and Sade Mondor of New Iberia, and Skyler Adams of Pottsville, PA; and a niece on the way. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, John J. Adams, and his maternal grandparents, Anthony Francis Caruso and Ann Elizabeth Caruso.
