Sharlene 'Leenie' Guillory

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, October 16, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Sharlene "Leenie" Hayes Guillory, 62, who passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at St. Martin Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, and continue on Friday at 7:00 am until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Thursday. Deacon Marcel Butch Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette. Sharlene loved cooking, gardening, and fishing. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, John Carrier; her son, Gabriel Guillory and wife Kathryn; her daughters, Ashley Guillory, and Kristen Menard and husband Trent; her sisters, Kathy Prejean and husband Benny, Elaine Breaux and husband Sonny, Debbie Prejean and husband Tommy, and Tammy Barker and husband Adonis; her brothers, L.J. Hayes and wife Judy, and Carroll Hayes and wife Nancy; her grandchildren, Kylie Bernard, Bryson Guillory, Landen Guillory, Aynsli Menard, and Cohen Menard; her father-in-law, Rodney Carrier; mother-in-law, Raenell Cormier; and her godchild, Melanie Dwyer. She was preceded in death by parents, Livingston and Hazel Begnaud Hayes; her sister, Ruby Hayes; and her brother and sister-in-law, Emery and Renella Hayes. Pallbearers will be Trent Menard, Cory Prejean, Ryan Breaux, Shannon Landry, Bennett Prejean Jr., and Blane Prejean. Honorary pallbearers will be Kylie Bernard, Byrson Guillory, Landen Guillory, Aynsli Menard, and Cohen Menard.
