Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Thursday, November 17, 2011, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Sharon Patin Blanchard, 60, who passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Fr. Louis Allen Breaux will officiate at the funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Anita Trahan and Agnes Begnaud. Gift bearers will be her grandsons, Trent LeBlanc and Brennan Roberts. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Sharon was a parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church and was employed with Acadiana Security Plus for several years, where she serviced a large number of clients. On weekends she enjoyed horseback riding and was an avid fan of drag-racing. Survivors include her daughter, Sheree Blanchard; two grandsons, Trent James LeBlanc and Brennan Paul Roberts, all of Breaux Bridge; her dogs, 'Coco' and 'Bella'; her adopted family, Berlie, Beatrice, and Tommy Latiolais; three sisters, Fern Patin deLaunay and her husband, David, of St. Martinville, Sally Patin Camacho and her husband, Eugene, of Breaux Bridge, and Bobbie Patin Eastin and her husband, Teddy, of Broussard; and two brothers-in-law, Robert 'Bobby' Campbell, III and his wife, Stacey, of Cecilia, and William 'Billy' Campbell of Breaux Bridge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marjorie Hebert Patin, Sr.; her husband, Robert Blanchard; her brother, Robert 'Coco' Patin, Jr.; and her sister-in-law, Brenda Jane Blanchard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, November 16th from 12 noon and continue until 1 p.m. on Thursday. A rosary will be recited by Wildie Roberts at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Marcus Fontenot, Paul Courts, Keith Schexnaider, Kenny Klusman, Larry Comeaux, and Clyde Boudreaux. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
