Sharon Meyer Reaux

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Sharon Meyer Reaux, 62, who passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015, in New Iberia. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Reaux was born on December 1, 1952 to Benjamin "Benny" Meyer and Audrey Borel Meyer. She enjoyed watching game shows and soap operas, sitting outdoors, watching her grandchildren grow, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Wildy "Junior" Reaux of New Iberia; children, Crystal Romero and fiance' Gene Marceaux of New Iberia, Mystie Whitman and companion Lance Langlinais of New Iberia, Derrick Reaux of New Iberia; brothers, Benjamin "Buddy" Meyer and wife Arlene of New Iberia, Barry Meyer of New Iberia, Carol "Jamie" Meyer and wife Debbie of New Iberia; mother, Audrey Meyer of New Iberia; grandchildren, Cody Romero and companion Kristen Carpenter, Lindsey Whitman, Sydnie Whitman, Kenzi Whitman; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by father, Benjamin "Benny" Meyer. Pallbearers will be Cody Romero, Derrick Reaux, Merland Jacquneaux, Carol "Jamie" Meyer, Lance Langlinais, and Gene Marceaux.
