Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Shawn Anthony Talley, 46, who passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday and continue on Saturday at 8:00 am. A vigil will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, followed by a rosary by Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert. A eulogy will be given by his daughter, Kaylie Phillips. Pastor Rob Burdeaux will officiate at the funeral service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Shawn possessed the natural talent and craftsmanship of woodworking. He could build or make anything out of wood. He was a wonderful artist who enjoyed drawing and writing, as well. As a pastime, he enjoyed listening to music and cooking for his family. He cherished his time spent with his family, especially being with his grandchildren. Shawn truly never met a stranger and loved all animals. He had a heart of gold and would be there for anyone that needed. Shawn will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Brandy Erato Talley; parents, Lawrence and Nancy Castille Talley; daughters, Kaylie Phillips (Danny), Karley Boudreaux (Dorsy), and Kloe Talley; brother, Matthew Talley (Christine); sister, Lori Johnson (Coby); grandchildren, Kamryn Boudreaux, Kohyn Boudreaux, Kenley Phillips, Bryleigh Phillips, and Easton Phillips; in-laws, Warren and Phyllis Erato; and his sisters-in-law, Tammy Derbes (Jeff) and Ashley Collette (Dusty). He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Linda Mackles; brothers-in-law, Clint Gallodoro, Sr. and Terry Gallodoro, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Elie and Electa Castille; and paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Mary Talley. Pallbearers will be Matthew Talley, Danny Phillips, Dorsy Boudreaux, Coby Johnson, Jeffrey Derbes, and Jeff Derbes.
