Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson for Sheila Faye McGee, 54, who passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Rev. Garrett Savoie will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Temesha Johnson and Tonya Arnaud. Gift bearers will be Layna Richard, Ryan Dauphinet and Jhett Dauphinet. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson. Sheila enjoyed gambling at the casino in her spare time. She loved being with her family and friends, especially her two grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her sons, Coby Dauphinet and companion, Layna Richard, Chance Dauphinet, and Jeremy Bergeron; her companion, Johnny Bergeron; her mother, Verna Barras; grandchildren, Ryan Dauphinet and Jhett Dauphinet; brothers, Keith McGee and wife Ana, and Shane McGee and wife Rhonda; sisters, Shely McGee and Temesha Johnson and husband Shaun; aunts, Judy Lasseigne and husband James, Sonia Theriot, and Beulah McGee; and godchildren, Skyler Johnson and Brook McGee. She was preceded in death by her father, Allen J. McGee; son, Christopher Dauphinet; brother, Rocky McGee; half-sister, Verlie McGee; maternal grandparents, Willie and Hazel Noel Dupuis; paternal grandparents, Lucere and Enola Robin McGee; and step father, Nootsie Barras. Pallbearers will be Coby Dauphinet, Chance Dauphinet, Jeremy Bergeron, Johnny Bergeron, Skyler Johnson, and Traegon Meche. Pellerin Funeral Home, (337-332-2111), is in charge of arrangements.
