Shelia Bourque Breaux

Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Shelia Bourque Breaux, 63, who passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at St. Joseph Hospice. Fr. Stephen Pellessier will officiate at the Memorial Mass. Readers will be Nicky Bourque and Dustin Bourque. Gift bearers will be her grandchildren. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2. Sheila was born October 29, 1955 in Breaux Bridge. She enjoyed fishing, riding horses, and spending time with her dogs, Zorro and Pablo. She loved her family dearly, especially her two grandchildren. Shelia will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Broussard Guidry and husband Kasey; significant other, Ronald Broussard; brother, Nicky Bourque; grandchildren, Cayden Prejean and Hailey Broussard; nieces and nephews, Dustin Bourque, Nicky Bourque, Jr., Gloria Bourque, and Matthew Bourque. She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin John and Janice Hebert Bourque, Sr.; son, Calvin "Buddy" John Bourque, III; brother, Calvin "Buddy" John Bourque, Jr.; and sisters, Penny Bourque Daigle and Valerie Bourque. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
