Shirley Halphen

Cecilia - A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Cecilia for Shirley Hebert Halphen, 81, who died Saturday, December 30, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Halphen loved sewing, crocheting, dancing and picking pecans and she enjoyed listening to music. Survivors include her sons, Michael Halphen and his wife, Charlotte of Baton Rouge, Stephen Halphen and his wife, Adrienne of Maurepas, Eric Halphen and his wife, Jaynel of Baton Rouge, Britt Halphen of Cecilia and Neal Halphen of Lafayette; her daughter, Patricia Halphen of Butte LaRose; her sisters, Gernice Lopez of Jeanerette and Jennette Vincent of New Iberia; fourteen grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aristelle and Marcelete B. Hebert; her husband, Lawrence Paul Halphen; her daughter, Diana Halphen; her grandson, Landon Halphen; her great grandson, Jabe Hebert; and her sister, Margaret LeBlanc. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue until time of service. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements. ii
