New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Shirley Dugan Louviere, 80, who passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, in St. Martinville. Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Rev. Scott Bullock will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Friday. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, and continue on Saturday at 8:00 am until 10:00 am. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Ms. Louviere was born on October 11, 1934 to Walter Lloyd Dugan Sr. and Olive Romero Dugan. An avid bowler, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of New Iberia, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her companion, Alvin Bergeron of New Iberia; son, Grant P. Louviere of New Iberia; granddaughter, Angelique C. Louviere of Saint Martinville; great-grandchildren, Brayton Louviere, Markel Louviere, Zerion Louviere, Nylah Davis, Carlyn Davis; and several nieces and nephews including two special nieces, Rona Perez Vaughn, and Cindy D. Barras. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Anthony Louviere, Sr.; a son, Anthony "Tony" Louviere, Jr.;, brothers, Lloyd Dugan, brother, Ernest Dugan, Richard Dugan; and sisters, Margie Dugan Roseberry, Doris Dugan, Grace Dugan Perez, Betty Dugan Perez, and Patricia Dugan Albert. Pallbearers will be Ronald Gonsoulin Jr., Mark Vaughn, Kirk Castille, James Perez, Timothy Dugan, Teddy Caulking Jr., and Duyane Albert.
