Shirlis Paul Boudreaux

St. Martinville - Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm , on Saturday, July 14, 2012 , at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in Saint Martinville, for Shirlis Paul 'Gros' Boudreaux, 77, who passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 , at St. Martinville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center . The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Friday and continue at 8:00 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday. Rev. Rusty P. Richard, Pastor of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Gift Bearers will be Erin Louviere, Jessica Eastin, and Robin Eastin. Interment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in Saint Martinville. 'Gros' was very creative and made his grandkids toys at Christmas time. He retired from Mallard and Parker Drilling. He was a gentle caring soul. He is survived by his wife, Muneera Boudreaux; his son, Jamie Boudreaux; his daughters, Sherry (Rock) Eastin and Trisha Brasseaux; his brothers, Ronald Boudreaux and Curtis Boudreaux; his sisters, Glenda (Elmer Ray) Delaune, Lovell Devillier, and Ledwin Bonin; his grandchildren, Erin E. Louviere, Jessica Eastin, Robin Eastin, Desiree' Laviolette; and his great-grandchild, Blaire Duplechein. He is preceded in death by his parents, Antoine and Jeanne Cormier Boudreaux; his brother, Willis Boudreaux; and his sister, Lunez Dore. Pallbearers will be Jamie Boudreaux, Jason Louviere, Gerald Bonin, Ronald Boudreaux, Shelby Boudreaux, and Ralph Dore. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
