Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 15, 2018, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson for Simone Eve Robin, 19, who passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm on Friday. Rev. Garrett Savoie will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Jenn and Felicia Guidry. Gift bearers will be her sisters, Samantha and Alyssa Robin. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson. Simone was a loving and caring young woman who enjoyed life. She was very talented and creative; an artist at heart who designed her own tattoos and was making her own furniture out of different types of materials and various items she would find. Simone loved all kinds of animals. As a pastime, she loved to fish and enjoyed listening and singing to music. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her grandmother, Nettie Robin; sisters, Samantha Robin and Alyssa Borel Robin; godparents, Rose Hayes and Sedaka Robin; aunts, Anna Robin Vicknair and husband Wallace and Juanita Robin Guidry and husband Jeff; uncle, Clifton Robin; and a host of cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Natasha Robin; grandfather, Roy Robin; niece, Laylah Love Granger; and aunt, Esther Robin Sturgis. Pallbearers will be Samantha Robin, Alyssa Borel Robin, Sedaka Robin, Ruben Thomas, Terville Vicknair, Jeff Guidry, Roy Sturgis, and James Sturgis. Honorary pallbearers will be Clifton Robin and Kaylon Quebedeaux. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson, 1120 Huval St., Henderson, LA (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
