Sterling "Bud" Peltier, Jr.

Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Sterling "Bud" Joseph Peltier, Jr., age 56. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the memorial service.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, to celebrate the life of Sterling "Bud" Joseph Peltier, Jr.

Born on March 11, 1967, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Sterling Joseph "Bud" Peltier, Jr. brought a vibrant and artistic spirit into this world. With heavy hearts, we announce Bud's passing on Thursday, September 21, 2023. He was 56 years old.

A master of his craft, Bud's passion for floral artistry was boundless. As a self-employed florist, he transformed each bloom into a living masterpiece, showcasing his innate creativity and vision. With delicate hands and an unfathomable touch, he crafted arrangements that spoke directly to the soul, illuminating joy in the hearts of all who beheld them. His talent knew no bounds, and his legacy as a gifted florist will forever bloom in the hearts of those he touched.

Beyond his artistic endeavors, Bud possessed a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He found solace in nature and amidst the sand and sea, embracing the gentle waves and basking in the warmth of the sun. His love for nature transcended his art, and he often found inspiration for his creations during long walks on the beach, where his spirit soared freely.

Bud's memory will be cherished by those who loved him dearly. 

He leaves behind his children, Ross Peltier and Camille Peltier. He also leaves behind his sisters, Cheryl (Allen) Meche, Yvonne (Randy) Bodoin and Margaret Melancon.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sterling Peltier, Sr., and Geraldine Trammel Peltier; and his brother-in-law, Randy Melancon.

As we bid farewell to this extraordinary soul, let us find solace in the memories that weave us together, reminding us that "Bud" memory will forever be engraved in our hearts.
