Steve Michael Perodin, Sr.

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Steve Michael Perodin, Sr., 63, who passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Thursday. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am on Thursday. Rev. Mike Sucharski will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Steve enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, going to the casino with his loving wife, Linda, and raising his animals and collecting scrap metal to sell. When he wasn't working, you could find him spending time with his grandchildren, who he adored. Steve will be remembered for his kindness towards those in need, such as his brother, Hanky J. He will be sadly missed by everyone who loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Linda Marie Charles Perodin; his daughters, Tamia Perodin of St. Martinville, and Stephanie Perodin of St. Martinville; his son, Steve Perodin, Jr. of St. Martinville; his mother, Elizabeth Wiltz Perrodin; his brothers, Randy Perrodin of Arnaudville, Henry Perrodin of St. Martinville, Kevin Perrodin of St. Martinville, Dwight Perrodin of Parks and Jerry Perrodin of St. Martinville; his sisters, Freda Lewis and husband Kerri of St. Martinville, Tina Franciso and husband Johnny of New Iberia, and Leslie Robertson and husband Patrick of St. Martinville; and his grandchildren, Mya Perodin, Miracle Perodin, Malique Perodin, and Javon Jacquet.. He was preceded in death by his father, Fernand Perrodin; his granddaughter, Zacariah Perodin; and his grandson, Marqueal Perodin. Pallbearers will be Rodgrick Charles, Darius Charles, Carl Vallier, Perez Lively, Kevin Perrodin, Jr., Gary Jacquet, Gilbert Alexander, and Dion Johnson.
