St. Martinville – Private services will be held at a later date for Steven Rene Landry, 52, who passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Steven was born in Franklin, Louisiana on September 28, 1972. He was a man who lived his life with passion, creativity, and an unwavering love for his family and the things he adored.
Having attended vo-tech school, Steven embraced his career as an electrician.
He was a true car enthusiast, often described as a “car guy,” with an incredible ability to recall the fine details about any vehicle that passed by. Whether it was a classic muscle car or the latest sports model, he had a story to share and a fact to impress. His love for racing, particularly NASCAR and Formula One, filled many afternoons with excitement as he cheered for his favorites.
Steven had an undeniable talent in the kitchen. His culinary skills were legendary among family and friends, and he loved to feed everybody. For Steven, food was more than sustenance; it was a way to connect and share love with those he cared about.
Steven took great pride in being a husband and father. He regarded his wife, Brandy Granger Landry, and son, Ethan as his greatest accomplishments, treasures of his heart that he cherished above all else. The bond they shared was evident to everyone, a profound love that was inspiring and beautiful to witness.
Steven’s life, though tragically shortened, was filled with laughter, joy, and countless experiences that enriched not only his own existence but also the lives of those around him. His memory will continue to inspire and uplift us. May he rest in peace.
