Private memorial services will be held at a later date for Sue Wiseman Dauterive, 86, who passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 in New Iberia.
Mrs. Dauterive was born on October 17, 1928 in Rover, Arkansas, and was a longtime resident of New Iberia. A member at the First United Methodist Church Choir in New Iberia, she received her Master's Degree from LSU, and was a volunteer with the Shadows Service League for over 30 years, and was a longtime Pink Lady at Dauterive Hospital.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Henry J. Dauterive, Jr. of New Iberia; daughters, Nanette Dauterive and Suzanne Babineaux and husband Erroll all of New Iberia, LA, grandchildren, Lindsay Mata Nicholson and husband Barrett of New Iberia, Melissa Mata of Fort Collins, CO, Mallory Mata McGowan and husband Ian of New Iberia, Marianna Mata Lewis and husband Tucker of Youngsville, Charlie Babineaux and wife Emily of Lafayette, Elise Babineaux Faucheaux and husband Blair of New Iberia, and 12 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her father, Perry Wiseman; mother, Mayme Sugg Wiseman; brothers, Perry A. Wiseman and Kenneth Wiseman; sisters, Anna Laura Coger Vaughter, and Edith Vaughter.
