Suzette Judice

New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday, February 18, 2013 at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church in New Iberia for Suzette Bienvenu Judice, 40, who died Friday, February 15, 2013, in Lafayette. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, in Loreauville Rev. Buddy Breaux will be the Celebrant. The readings will be proclaimed by Ashli Cusinato, and Virginia Judice. Gift Bearers include Kelbi Bienvenu, Randi Provost, Crystal Freyou, Shantel Neuville, and Laine Judice. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Sunday. Visitation will continue Monday from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM. Born on July 21, 1972, Suzette was a graduate of St. Martinville Senior High, and the University of Louisiana Lafayette. She was a teacher at Loreauville Junior High School, and was voted Teacher of the Year in 2010. She enjoyed spending time with her family, mentoring her students, and attending sporting events for her children, nieces, and nephews. Her hobbies also included reading spiritual books and exercising. She is survived by her husband Jim Judice of New Iberia; parents, Wayne Bienvenu, Sr. and Patsy Comeaux Bienvenu of St. Martinville; sons, Reagan Judice and Ethan Judice both of New Iberia; sisters, Colette Provost and husband Brian of Loreauville, Lynette Dugas and husband Lynn of St. Martinville; brothers, Coleman Bienvenu, Jr. and wife Tricia of Spring, Texas, Neil Bienvenu and wife Stacey of St. Martinville; husband's parents, Anthony 'Joe' Judice and Gladys Simmons Judice of New Iberia; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alphe and Theresa Bienvenu, and Ned and Clolice Comeaux. Pallbearers will be Lynn Dugas, Brian Provost, Justin Judice, Brady Judice, Ron Bienvenu, and Neil Neuville. Honorary pallbearers include Dylan Dugas, Jordy Provost, and Brody Bienvenu. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
