Sybil was a drafter for Dynamic Industries for over 20 years.
She preferred to be barefoot and outside, and had a green thumb. Sybil enjoyed working out in the yard with her tropical plants, and she delighted in hand-feeding a family of squirrels who came out to meet her whenever she called them. They all responded to the name “Isabelle”. Her Miniature Sheltie, Peanut was her constant companion.
Sybil was a “picker” before picking was a thing. She could spot a treasure at a garage sale or on the side of the road from a block away. When she lived in Hawaii, she combed the beaches for glass floats that washed up from old fishing nets. She had quite a collection of little trinkets and treasures.
In July of this year, Sybil returned to Hawaii for a well-deserved vacation. She reconnected with some old friends, visited the attractions, spent time with family and enjoyed watching the sea turtles clambering up to the beach. Always on the lookout for a good deal, she had a great time bargain hunting at the big flea market. She stopped to smell all the flowers and even picked some of them, and brought cuttings home for her yard.
Sybil always had a pot of coffee on and invited family and friends over in the mornings to visit. She will be dearly missed by those she left behind.
