Sybil Hardy Guidry

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Sybil Hardy Guidry, 83, who passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. James Fallon, will officiate at the funeral Mass. Survivors include her husband, Sidney Guidry, of Breaux Bridge; her son, Joey Guidry of Baytown, TX; one sister, Claire H. Broussard, of New Orleans; two grandchildren, Chad Guidry and Treva Guidry; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Hardy Guidry; and her parents, James and Ita Hebert Hardy. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
