Sybil was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a mother figure to all who knew her, a best friend, a shoulder to lean on, and a trusted ear to listen without judgment. A natural mentor, she was full of wisdom and could always offer a laugh with her unmatched wit and humor. She taught not to take life too seriously. She was a gentle soul, yet full of strength. She never gave up on herself or others; no matter what hardships life delivered. Filled with compassion, she always put others first and loved deeply. She enjoyed the simple things in life like traveling with her husband in summertime, cooking with family and friends and found beauty and God in everything around her. She also valued and taught by example the important things in life. She was a devout Catholic with strong faith and prayed for many people. She was our angel and saint. Her nurturing and caring heart will be deeply missed by all.
She is survived by her husband, Nelson Landry; two daughters, Patty Bergeron and husband, Corey and Tilly Landry; and one grandchild, Kennedy Bergeron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lionel and Agnes Fisette; two brothers, Marion Fisette and John Chester Fisette.
Pallbearers will be Corey Bergeron, Fred Davis, Warren Erato, Randy Boyer, Anthony Boyer and Matthew Marks.
