Sylvia LeBlanc Prince

Lydia - A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Lydia for Sylvia LeBlanc Prince, 86, who passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday 11:00 am until the time of service at St. Nicholas Life center.

A resident of Lydia, Mrs. Prince was born on January 24, 1935 in New Orleans to the late Leroy and Marie Webre LeBlanc. She worked as a supervisor at Cypress Bayou Casino and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Prince of St. Martinville, Cynthia Lancon of New Iberia, and Tina Prince Rodrigue (Joey) of New Iberia; son, Forrest Jude Prince of New Iberia; sister, Bobby Sedatol (Mack); brothers, Kenny LeBlanc (Vicki), and Wayne LeBlanc; grandchildren, Shantelle Richard (Richard), Cherie Conley, Chynna LeBlanc, Lacey Prejean (Jean), Jacob Rodrigue, and Derek Prince; 14 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and her beloved dog "Jack".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Prince.

The Family request that Flowers and Food be delivered to the St. Nicholas Life Center from 8am - 2pm on the day of service.
