Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Tammy Marie Escagne Boudreaux, 44, who passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm on Wednesday and continue at 8:00 am until 10:30 am on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Rev. Paul LaFleur will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Cammie Poirier and Angela Degeyter. Gift Bearers will be Sumer Poirier and Cheryl D'Albor. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Tammy was formerly employed at Martin Mills and worked for the St. Martin Parish School Board. She was a generous person who enjoyed helping others. She enjoyed reading, morning prayers and spending time with her family. She loved her dog, Blackie. She is survived by her son, Brent Boudreaux; her daughter, Siera Boudreaux; her brother, Wilbert Escagne, Jr.; her sister, Tina Escagne; her granddaughter, Emily Boudreaux; her aunt, Linda Champagne; her nieces, Sumer Poirier, Paige Poirier, and Cammie Poirier; and her great-niece, Crystal Champagne. She is preceded in death by her husband, Danny James Boudreaux; her father, Wilbert Escagne, Sr.; her mother, Billy Joyce Champagne Escagne; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Jeanette Champagne; paternal grandparents, Rudolph and Avia Escagne; and her uncle, Alton Champagne. Pallbearers will be Robert Reed, Rawson Reed, K. J. Lasseigne, Evan Castille, Keith Poirier, and Chadwick Landry. Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Landry, Tanner Degeyter.
