Rynella - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella for Tara Ann LeBlanc, 64, who passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017, in Rynella.
Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum.
Rev. Richard Broussard will be the Celebrant.
A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary, led by the Men's Rosary Group, will be prayed at 7:00 PM Wednesday. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 10:15 AM.
A native and lifelong resident of Iberia Parish, Tara was born on July 20, 1952 to Harold and Agnes Elsie Landry LeBlanc. She attended schools for the deaf in Baton Rouge, Hot Springs, Arkansas, and also at the University of Louisiana Lafayette. Tara was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her mother, Agnes Elsie Landry LeBlanc of Rynella; brother, Nick A. LeBlanc and wife Karen of Broussard; nieces, Nikki LeBlanc Hebert and husband Stephen of Youngsville, Alexandra LeBlanc of Broussard, Madeline LeBlanc of Broussard; great nephew, Tucker Hebert, and a great niece, Kaileigh Hebert.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Peter LeBlanc, and grandparents, Odan and Adele Laviolette LeBlanc, and Sefrien and Viola Broussard Landry.
Pallbearers will be Roy LeBlanc, Michael LeBlanc, Stephen Hebert, Nick DuBois, Skip Leleux, and Craig Landry.
Honorary pallbearers include Lawless Fitch Jr., Shawn LeBlanc, and Woody Leleux.
