Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Tara Nichole Noel, 37, who bravely faced a devastating diagnosis of terminal brain cancer and fought valiantly against it. On Monday, January 15, 2024, she ultimately succumbed to her illness at her residence in Rosharon, TX. Throughout her battle, Tara demonstrated immense strength and determination, giving everything she had to continue living life to the fullest and to be there for her children. Her unwavering love and selflessness will always be remembered.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm. It will continue on Saturday from 7:00 am until 10:00 am.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Friday evening by Josepha Wiltz.
Rev. George Bede Ajuruchi, SSJ will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Stephanie Babineaux and Brittany Landry.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
Tara, a native of Breaux Bridge and a resident of Rosharon, Texas, graduated from St. Martinville High School in 2004 and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She then pursued a Master's degree from Lamar University. Tara's dedication to her profession as a Diagnostician in the education industry was unparalleled. She passionately devoted herself to helping others and had a profound impact on the lives of countless students.
Outside of her professional achievements, Tara had a vibrant and dynamic personality. In her spare time, she loved painting on canvas. Tara had an unwavering commitment to wellness and took great pride in her physical and mental well-being. She loved working out and taking care of herself, always striving to be the best version of herself she could be.
Tara's passion for world travel and exploration led her to discover new destinations across the globe. Additionally, she had a deep love for sports. Tara's infectious smile had the power to brighten even the cloudiest of days, and her warm and compassionate nature made everyone feel special.
Tara adored her babies, Maddison and Trey, and was a pillar of support for her loved ones, always ready to offer guidance and wisdom. Tara's advice was sought after, and she was a trusted mentor to many. She cherished her role as a big sister and she loved spoiling her nieces and nephews, who called her "Pumpkin". Her family held a special place in her heart, and she shared an unbreakable bond with them.
She is survived by her parents, Linda Babineaux Wiltz and Wallace Wiltz, Jr.; fiance', Roy Emanuel, Jr.; daughter, Maddison Sellers; son, Roy "Trey" Emanuel, III; paternal grandfather, Wallace Wiltz, Sr.; brothers, Wallace Wiltz, III (Amistic) and Derrick Wiltz (Andria); sisters, Yolanda Moore (O'shea Sellers), Shelly Domond (Juan Victor) and Chastity Noel; aunts, Hilda Zenon (Frederick), Tricia William (Leander), Doris Wiltz, Christianna Broussard (Joseph), Pamela Landry (Timothy) and Juanita Johnson; uncles, Clifton Babineaux, Jr. (Stephanie), Gilbert Wiltz (Sharon) and Darrell Wiltz (Crystal); nieces, Alanys, Chandler, Nickell and Mia; nephew, Dallas; and a host of great-aunts, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ricky Noel; maternal grandparents, Vida and Clifton Babineaux, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Allen and Shirley Williams Noel; paternal grandmother, Enola Wiltz; aunt, Leeanna Robertson; uncle, Hubert Wiltz; and cousin, Marvin Zenon.
Pallbearers will be Dion Williams, Desmond Wiltz, Clifton Babineaux, III, Hubert Wiltz, Alfred Derouselle and Johnnie Robertson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Wallace Wiltz, III, Travis Williams, Derrick Wiltz, Christopher Broussard, Frederick James Zenon, Dylan Babineaux and Juan Victor.
