Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, December 11, 2015, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Teddy Ray Daigle, 14, who passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7 am until 10:30 am on Friday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 8 am on Friday. Fr. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Teddy enjoyed basketball, football, trail riding and dancing zydeco, which brought joy to him and others who surrounded him. He was known to many as a lovable, respectful and helpful individual that would help anybody in their time of need. Teddy attended the Holy Family School in Lafayette. He was loved by many and will be sadly missed by his family, friends, classmates and teammates. He is survived by his mother, Corina Daigle of Breaux Bridge; his father, Ted Daigle; brothers, Geoffrey Lewis of Houston, TX, and Teddrick Lewis of Breaux Bridge; sisters, Tyronza Daigle and Shatedra Daigle of Houston, TX; maternal grandfather, Irving Lewis of Breaux Bridge; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Lewis of Breaux Bridge; nieces, Shalyn Lewis and Aniyah Collins; and his nephew, Geoffrey Lewis. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Daigle; and his paternal grandmother, Paurina Daigle. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
