Terry J. Guidroz

Leonville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville for Terry J. Guidroz, 66, who passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020, at Opelousas General Hospital. ** The family requests that masks be worn for the service. ** Rev. Darren Eldridge will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Leo the Great Cemetery in Leonville. Terry loved to hunt and spend time outdoors. He enjoyed cutting the grass and riding the lawn mower, as well as, spending time with his family. Terry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his brothers, Dutile (Peggy) Guidroz, Leonard (Wanda) Guidroz, David (Lisa) Guidroz and Patrick Guidroz; sister, Wanda (Howard, Jr.) Martin; 7 nieces; 2 nephews; 5 great-nieces; 5 great-nephews; and 1 great-great niece; and 1 great-great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Verna Mae Taylor Guidroz; brothers, Daniel Joseph Guidroz, Sr. and Gerald Guidroz; nephew, Daniel Joseph Guidroz, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Adelma and Octave Taylor; and paternal grandparents, Dutile and Alzire Guidroz. Pallbearers will be Dutile Guidroz, Leonard Guidroz, David Guidroz, Howard Martin, Jr., Braddy Guidroz, and Kelly Michon. Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
