New Iberia - A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Terry J. Robicheaux, 71, who passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, in New Iberia.Entombment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery, with Military Honors by the Iberia Honor Guard.A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 4:30 pm until 9:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.A rosary, led by the Men’s Rosary Group, will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Friday.A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mr. Robicheaux was born on December 4, 1949 to the late Assay and Ormine LeBlanc Robicheaux. He proudly served our country for six years in the United States Marine Corp and retired from Cleco with 23 years of service. Mr. Robicheaux enjoyed hunting, fishing, and duck carving. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Patricia Poche Robicheaux of New Iberia; daughter, Kimberly Robicheaux Comeaux (Dean) of New Iberia; son, Rene Robicheaux (Karla) of New Iberia; two grandchildren, Cole Matthew Comeaux, and Evelyn Robicheaux; and a brother, Bill Bergeron (Carol) of Gulf Breeze, Florida.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Sue Delcambre. Pallbearers will be Paul Poche, Gerald Huval, Gary Williams, Nick Pommier, Johnny Robbins, and Brandon Carline.The family would like to give special thanks to Hope Hospice and to Dr. Carl Ditch and his staff.Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 301 E.
