Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Terry Soignier, 55, who passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 12:00 pm on Saturday. Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the Funeral Service. Terry worked as a manager of Paul's Pirogue in Carencro for 20 years. He enjoyed cooking, watching soaps, Wheel of Fortune, and Hallmark movies. Terry was always there for his family and supported them in all their endeavors. He will be remembered for his kindness and love for his family and preparing his wonderful unique Cajun cuisine. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Margie Huval Soignier; sons, Jebby Soignier and partner, Danny Allen of Baton Rouge, and Robby Soignier and fiance, Heidi Dunn of Lafayette; brothers, Lee Joseph Soignier of Carencro, Jimmy Carroll Soignier and wife Vickie of Breaux Bridge, Russell Soignier of Rayne, and David Wayne Soignier of New Orleans; sister, Janet Soignier of Parks; grandchild, Juliana Meri Soignier; and his grand pups, Maddox and Sarah. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Carroll Soignier and his mother, Velma Decoux Soignier. His family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to Synergy Home Health for the compassionate care given to him during his time of need. Pallbearers will be Garrett Soignier, Chris Soignier, Kevin Soignier, Russell Soignier Jr., Dustin Broussard, Jarrod Anselm, Zachary Landry, and Colby Landry.
