Tex Bergeron

Breaux Bridge - Tex Bergeron, 57, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in Breaux Bridge. 

Tex was a chief engineer in the dredging industry for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at the camp. Tex will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Stacy Duplechien Bergeron; son, Trevor James Bergeron; daughters, Misty Duke and Alana Duke; grandchildren, Kaylee Duke, Walker Duke, Allison Carter and Ember Carter; sisters, Penny Duplechien (Dale) and Carlena Bergeron (Sim); mother-in-law, Margaret Duplechien; brothers-in-law, Jody Duplechien (Amanda) and Anthony "Tiny" Duplechien (Darlene); nephews, Ace Duplechien, Axle Frederick, Garth Frederick and Johl Duplechien; nieces, Regina Disotell, Heather Mequet (Jude) and Harlie Allemond (Hunter).  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Bergeron and Irene Courville Bergeron; nephew, Justin Duplechien; godfather, Leus "Dubee" Courville; and father-in-law, Larry Duplechien.
