St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Thelma LeBlanc Dor, 88, who passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012, at St. Martinville Rehab and Nursing Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday and continue at 7:00 am until 9:30 am on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Tuesday. Rev. Rusty P. Richard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Nicole and Yvette Broussard. Gift Bearers will be Leah Moritz, Dori Walters Landry, Celena Collette, Michelle Latiolais, and Christie Durand. Interment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. She is survived by two sons, Michael (Jo Ellen) Dor and Thomas (Debbie) Dor; three daughters, Media D. (Eno) Landry, Rita Gail (Billy) Andrews, and Cynthia (Errol) Crochet; one brother, Harris LeBlanc; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lully Dor; her parents, Tilus and Auphelia Angelle LeBlanc; her daughter-in-law, Lillian Broussard Dor; a granddaughter, Jill Andrews; two brothers, Opta and James LeBlanc; and six sisters, Eugenie Schexnayder, Bertha Moran, Lelia Morris, Lillian Moran, Media LeBlanc, and Ada Taylor. Pallbearers will be Michael Dor, Joel Landry, Beau Collette, Gayland Andrews, Brad Dor, Alan Moritz, Thomas Dor, and Billy Ray Andrews.
