Theresa 'Tede' Lynn Brister

Breaux Bridge- Theresa Lynn Brister, 58, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at her residence. A resident of Breaux Bridge, Mrs. Brister was born on June 4, 1958 in Bossier City, Louisiana. "Tede", how she was known by many, was a very strong free spirited woman who loved life and liked doing things "her way". She cared unconditionally for her three dogs and was a member of the ASPCA. During her free time, "Tede" would spend her days fishing and attending gatherings with family and friends, especially time spent with the love of her life, Jake Brister. She is survived by her son, James L. Plamondon, Jr. and wife Windy of Rio Rico, AZ; brother, James Edwards of Tucson, AZ; sister, Teri Chessall and husband William of Tucson, AZ, and best friend, Karen "Sis" Breaux-Louviere of Breaux Bridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Brister and mother, Janice Edwards. Pellerin Funeral Home, (337-332-2111), is in charge of arrangements.
