Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at St. Bernard Catholic Church (Borel Center) in Breaux Bridge, for Theresa Thibodeaux Frederick , 97, who passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016, at Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:00 am until 1:30 pm on Tuesday. A rosary will be prayed at 12:00 pm on Tuesday. Fr. Brian Webre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Theresa was a parishioner at St. Bernard Catholic Church, where she attended Mass regularly. She also assisted her community members in their time of need. Theresa enjoyed cooking for others, going to the casino and playing Bingo and Pokeno at the Council on Aging and the nursing home. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Hebert and husband Hayworth; daughter-in-law, Vickie Frederick Miller; sisters, Jeanne Barras, and Margaret Vincent and husband Sidney; grandchildren, Brent, Kenneth, Kelly, and Michael Frederick, Todd Hebert, and Sharelle H. Thibodeaux; 13 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis "T-Louis" Frederick; son, Howard Joseph "Sonny Boy" Frederick; parents, Clearmar and Ange Marie Champagne Thibodeaux; brother, Anthony Thibodeaux; and sisters, Ann T. Girouard and Margie Lou T. Champagne. Pallbearers will be Brent, Kenneth, Kelly, and Michael Frederick, and Todd and Brett Hebert.
