Theresa Dorothy Gordon

Parks - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 11, 2006, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks for Theresa Dorothy Gordon, 68, who died Friday, December 8, 2006 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Ms. Gordon loved playing bingo and baking, but her greatest love of all was her family. Survivors include her son, John Kevin Gordon and his wife, Geraline of St. Martinville; and two brothers, Cursey Gordon of Patterson and Roosevelt Gordon, Jr. of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine Lewis and Roosevelt Gordon, Sr.; one brother, James Gordon, Sr.; and one sister, Patricia Nelson. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Sunday. Pallbearers will be her son, John Kevin Gordon, Albert Nelson, Stoney Blanchard, Tony Gordon, Patrick Deshotels, Timothy Sigue, Jr. and Corey Sigue. Honorary pallbearer will be Noah Deshotels. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
