Theresa Jo Anna Dore Landry

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, September 27, 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Theresa "Jo Anna" Dore Landry, 65, who passed away on Monday, September 24, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Rev. Fr. Louis Allen Breaux, associate pastor of St. Bernard Church, will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Jo Anna was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed taking care of others and cooking, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her son, Troy Paul Landry and his wife, Wendy, of Wausau, Florida; her daughter, Christie Lynn Landry and Corey James Richard, of Breaux Bridge; three brothers, Roland Dore, of Breaux Bridge, Ronald Dore, of Arnaudville, and David Dore, of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Annette D. Delcambre, of New Iberia, and Lorraine St. Clair, of Liberty, Texas; and six grandchildren, Jules Anthony Landry, Tyler Douglas Landry, Taylor Lee Landry, Caitlyn LaRa Richard, Caleb James Richard, and Cameron Chaz Richard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jules "Dalton" Landry; a daughter, Cynthia Louise Landry; her brother, Henry Dore; and her parents, Vernes and Annie Lou Green Dore. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Roland Dore, Ronald Dore, David Dore, Keith Delcambre, James St. Clair, and Randy Dore. Honorary pallbearers will be John Allen Dore, Bobby Olivier, and Jerry Delcambre. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. LaMarche and Dr. Paredez, Our Lady of Lourdes, SICU unit staff, and friends and family for the compassionate care that was given to their mother and family. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
