Therese Marie Borel

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, August 11, 2008, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Therese Marie Borel, 93, who passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Miss Borel was a very talented member of the Home Demonstration Club in St. Martinville. She was also a member of the Altar Society at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church. She is survived by numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philbert and Dervianne Melancon Borel; and her brothers Louis and Jean Borel. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m on Monday. ; A rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
