Thomas Howard Hebert

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville for Thomas Howard Hebert, 67, who passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Houston Methodist West Hospital in Houston Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville. Mr. Hebert honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His greatest enjoyment was watching the sunset at his lake house in Toledo Bend and having Safety Meetings with all of his friends at 5 oclock. Thomas enjoyed being with his family and friends, especially his boys - he was a very proud father. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Susan Moss Hebert; his sons, Edward J. Hebert and his wife, Raquel, Michael J. Hebert and his wife, Laci and Willis Joseph Taylor; his sisters, Velma Simon and Shirley Powell; and his grandchildren, Justin, Jake, Jillian, Gavin, Kailyn and Kale. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Edmae Abshire Hebert; and his aunt and uncle who raised him Dalton and Elda Hebert. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
