Timmie was a welder for over 40 years and was a hard worker. He was larger than life, could light up a room with his humor and wit, and always shined a beautiful smile. Timmie loved to duck hunt but was too nervous to sit still and wait for a deer. His family - wife, son, daughter, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren were his world. Timmie was loved by every person who had the pleasure to know him. This world will not be the same without him. Timmie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He loved his life, but longed for the day that he would be reunited with his beautiful daughter, Monique.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Annette Bernard Trahan; son, Corey Trahan (Jamie); brother, Tommy Trahan (Dot); grandchildren, Baylie Trahan, Cameron Trahan, Demi Trahan and Elliot Trahan; brother-in-law, Denis Bernard (Lana); sisters-in-law, Jane Bernard, Genny Dugas (JC), Linda Cormier (Don), and Sarah Foti (Freddie); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Monique Jenee Trahan; parents, Alcide Trahan and Lorraine Chataignier Trahan; parents-in-law, Roy Bernard and Ludy Babineaux Bernard; sister-in-law, Patricia Boudreaux Bernard; brother-in-law, Terry Bernard, Sr.; and nephew, Tracy Cormier.
Pallbearers will be Corey Trahan, Tommy Trahan, Baylie Trahan, Cameron Trahan, Denis Bernard, and Terry Bernard, Jr. in honor of Terry Bernard, Sr.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Brock Romero for his care and compassion shown to him and his family and also to the family and friends who supported him throughout his journey.
