Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, February 16, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Timothy Mozard Hebert, 45, who passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2008. ?
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m.
Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum No. 1, Breaux Bridge.
Tim was born on August 29, 1962 in Toul-Rosier, France. ?He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis T. Hebert. ?
His survivors include his wife, Michelle A. Hebert; two daughters, Mary Phyllis and Julieanna Marie Hebert; his father, Roland M. Hebert and his wife, Lana Ledoux Hebert; two aunts, Genevieve and Marie Louise ""Bibble"" Hebert; three brothers, Dr. Mitchell Jude, Quinn Joseph and Christopher Henry Hebert; his step-sister, Wendy Hance; and his step-brother, Garrett Thibodeaux.
Pallbearers will be his nephews.
A 1980 valedictorian graduate of Breaux Bridge High School, Tim graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1984. ?Thereafter he obtained his Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law in 1987. ?Tim held many positions in private industry and government such as, legal counsel for the Office of Coastal Restoration and Management, Louisiana Department of Natural Resources and Deputy Oil Spill Coordinator, Office of the Governor.
Tim was very active in his community and in his church parish of St. Bernard. ?He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 2398 and the St. Bernard Holy Name Society. ?Most importantly, Tim was a great man and a wonderful father, son, brother and friend. ?He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. ?May his soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace. ?Amen.
