A Loving Father, Son and Brother New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM, Friday, Ausgust 28, 2009, at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church, in New Iberia for Timothy Tyler, 43, who died Friday, August 21, 2009 in Orange, Texas. ; Entombment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum. ; Rev. Mike Arnaud will be the Celebrant. ;Musical selections will be performed by Rosalind Stockstill and Karen Guidry. A native of New Orleans and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Timothy was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High and University of Lafayette where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in chemical engineering. His hobbies were playing golf, going out to eat and he especially enjoyed going to the movies with his son Jacob to see the Star Trek movies. ; Survivors include his parents, ONeil Sonny Tyler and Sandra Sandy Marquer Tyler; his son, Jacob Colby Tyler; his brother, Christopher Tyler, all of New Iberia; his aunts, Marie Hohensee and husband Lynn of Lake Charles and Jackie Tyler of New Iberia. ; He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, August and Ella Marquer and his paternal grandparents, ONeil James and Carrie Tyler. ; Pallbearers will be Chris Tyler, Paul Melancon, Brent Gaspard, Ferrell Decuir, Shane Decuir and Phil Cartimiglia. Honorary pallbearers iclude, Jacob Tyler, Lynn Hohensee, Dwayne Breaux, Clint Boudreaux, Kevin Hebert and Roy DeGravelle. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Thursday.
