Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Tina Marie Dauphine, 56, who passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.A rosary will be prayed at the church at 9:30 am on Saturday.Fr. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass.Tina Marie Guidry Dauphine, or affectionately known by her grandchildren as “Nanna”, was born in in Biloxi MS., but would settle in Arnaudville, Louisiana with her parents, Hazel Marie Angelle Guidry and Alton Guidry. Tina married Kenneth Paul Dauphine in 1983, and her family moved from Louisiana in early 1988 and lived in Ridgeland, Mississippi for 10 years, before moving back in 1998. Tina was employed with the Schumacher Group for 20 years. She loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and her cousins. Her grandchildren were her most precious of all and adored them. Tina was known as the fighter of the family, whether you were right or wrong, she was the rock everyone would go to for advice, for encouragement, or a shoulder to cry on. Tina loved to shop every Saturday with her best friend, Robin Robinson. And she would travel 2 to 3 times a year to her favorite place, the beach. Whether it was leisure or just a quick getaway to Dauphin Island, Alabama just to touch the sand or enjoy the views. Tina also loved to sew, just like her momma; she was very creative and had a knack for making little outfits or blankets for her family and friends. Tina also faithfully attended her rosary group every Wednesday, where the group would pray for everyone who had an intention. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Dauphine; son, John Dauphine (Sarahgail); daughter, Danielle McManus (Justin);and four grandchildren, Jaycee McManus, Gavyn Dauphine, Ayden Dauphine, and Audrey Dauphine.She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Hazel Angelle Guidry; and her three cousins, Barbara Guidry, Renella Frederick, and Seth Guidry.
