Tony Lynn Louviere

Rynella - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, on Monday, March 30, 2009, at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella, for Tony Lynn Louviere, 54, who passed away on Friday, March 27, 2009 in Lafayette. Interment will follow in Broussard Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will be the Celebrant. Born on July 1, 1954 in Jeanerette, Tony was a machinist having worked for Red Fox, Louisiana Radiator, S W Machine Shop, Superior Oil Machine, and most recently Phillips Iron Works. An avid sword collector, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his "Lil Miracle". Tony was a proud and loyal member of the In-Laws Hunting Club. Survivors include his wife, Helen Hill Louviere of New Iberia; daughters, Jody Lynn Louviere and fianc Brandon Segura of New Iberia, Rebecca Ann Louviere of New Iberia; son, Jay Michael Louviere of New Iberia; sisters, Sherry Louviere Bonin and husband Rockie of New Iberia, Wanda Louviere Duhon and husband Roland of New Iberia; grandchildren, Trevor Faucheaux and Alexis Hebert; numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John A. Louviere and Merlene Reaux Louviere, and his mother-in-law, Avia D. Hill. Pallbearers will be Jay Louviere, Brandon Segura, Marty Boutte, Kenny Watterson, Craig Landry, and Chris Sandoz. Honorary Pallbearers include Trevor Faucheaux, Chad Landry, and Heath Wiggins. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 1:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed Sunday at 6:30 PM Visitation will continue Monday from 8:00 AM until 9:15 AM.
