Tonya Kay Perez Maturin

New Iberia - Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Tonya Kay Perez Maturin, 50, who passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021, in New Iberia.

Interment will follow at St. Helens Cemetery in Glenco.

Rev. Randy Courville will officiate.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday.

Tonya Kay Perez Maturin was born in Franklin, Louisiana on September 4, 1971. She loved the beach and sunsets, and had a passion for rescuing and raising African Spurback tortoises. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Tonya is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Scotty Maturin; two daughters, Brittany Perez and Destiny Duhon of New Iberia; a son, Darrin Perez of New Iberia; stepson, Coty Maturin (Brycelynn) of New Iberia; stepdaughter, Kirstin Maturin of New Iberia; two brothers, Antoine "Tony" Perez, Jr. (Rose) of Loreauville, and Ernest Perez of Lydia; father, Antoine "Tony" Perez, Sr. of Lydia; mother, Roberta Pellerin (Nolan) of New Iberia; and numerous grandchildren.
