Breaux Bridge, Louisiana - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, November 18, 2023, at St. Louis Chapel in Parks, for Travis Centrell Lewis, 38, who passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at his residence. 

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 am on Saturday.

Father David M. Rozas will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Ruby Celestine and Shelia Charles. Gift bearers will be Kendra Potier and Francheska Charles.

Interment will follow at Queen of Peace in St. Martinville.

Travis was born on July 9, 1985, in Lafayette. He was a momentous and amazing man, who touched many lives. He was known for doing small, odd jobs for his family and friends of his community. He made it his business to lend a helping hand whenever he could. Travis had an innate ability to connect with others. He never met a stranger. His spirit reached countless lives throughout the years. Family meant everything to Travis.

Travis was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Yolanda Lewis; father, Craig Fontenette; sister, Kiara Wilson; step-brothers and step-sisters, Rakeem Babin(Ashaunna), Brandon Demouchet(Naomi), Deion Malveaux(Marie), Craig Fontenette, Jr. and Myles Barbers , Je'Ree Ledet and Twanza Robertson; uncle, William Lewis, Jr.(Natasha); godmother, Mary Charles; godson, Destin Thibeaux; and his cousins, Kennedy Lewis, Kelby Lewis and Tarionne Raymond.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Juanita Lewis Sr.; grandmother, Mae Audrey Hypolite; aunts, Sabrinda Lewis; uncle, Larry Fontenette; and his godfather, Harris Mouton, Jr. 

Pallbearers will be Herman Hogues, Tanner Morris, Bryson O'Neil, Michael Payne, Jordan Potier, and Timothy Wilson. 

Honorary pallbearers will be William Lewis Sr., Kelby William Lewis, Kelsy Alexander, Brian Charles, Crannon Charles, Craig Fonette, Anthony Johnson, MacPaul Leblanc, Shawnee Lewis, Shane Lewis, Albert Morris, Dailey Potier, Chas Perrodin, Jr., Terry Steward, Whitney Wiltz, Damien Wilson, Rakeem Babin, Joseph Brown, III, David Dent, Stephen Hypolite, Chris Johnson, Damien Johnson, Paul Morris, Christopher Morris, Macwayne Potier, Phillip Thibodeaux, and Ranaldo Wiltz, Jr.
