St. Martinville A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 16, 2014, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Tricia Ann Latiolais, 43, who passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 12:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday, at 8 am until 10 am, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Fr. Ed Degeyter will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Hannah Bernard and Maddie Robicheaux. Serving as Gift Bearer will be Danielle Webb. Entombment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville.
Tricia attended nursing school through Lafayette General Medical Center. She was currently running a WillStaff Agency out of New Iberia.
Tricia enjoyed being surrounded by people. She was an avid sports participant in baseball, basketball, and dancing, and also taught swimming.
Survivors include her son, Broc Latiolais of New Iberia; her mother, Jane Latiolais of St. Martinville; and her sisters, Meranda Dautreuil of New Iberia and Jeanise Bernard and her husband, Steve of Breaux Bridge.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gabriel Latiolais, Jr.; her brother-in-law, Guy Dautreuil; her maternal grandparents, George and Martha Campbell; and her paternal grandparents, Gabriel Latiolais, Sr. and Josephine B. Latiolais.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Bernard, Elliott Bernard, Matthew Robicheaux, Daniel Campbell, Terrol Dugas, Ernest Minor, Diquan Conley and Corey Albert.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville in charge of arrangements.
