Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 1, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Tyler Joseph Marks, 19, who passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 8:30 am on Monday, and continue until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 12:00 pm on Monday. Rev. Steve Ugwu will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery in Carencro. Tyler was a graduate of Cecilia Sr. High School and enjoyed animals, RC model airplanes, dirt bike riding, camping, playing guitar and working out. Most of Tyler's life was spent at Mark's Hardware Store in Lafayette while under ownership of his grandparents. Tyler had an infectious smile that would light up a room and was known for being very well mannered. He is survived by his father, Byron Marks of Lafayette; mother, Tina Richard Hebert and husband Chris of Breaux Bridge; brothers, Mason Hebert of Breaux Bridge, Cullen Hebert of Breaux Bridge; maternal grandfather, Woodley Richard and spouse Terilla of Maurice; paternal grandmother, Edna Marks of Lafayette; and his step grandfather, Clifford Hebert and spouse Becky of Breaux Bridge. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Rose Richard and paternal grandfather, Chester J. Marks. Pallbearers will be Mason Hebert, Cullen Hebert, Michael Nowell, Dylan Nowell, Brennan Wiltz and Kenneth Marks. Honorary pallbearer will be Dawson Romero.
