New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Friday, July 20, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia for Ussay 'Honi' R. Viator Creech, who died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 in Lafayette. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Mark Derise will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM atPellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560, 337.365.3331. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Thursday. Visitation will continue Friday from 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM. A native of Erath, 'Honi' was a dental assistant at Iberia Dental Associates for 35 years. Her hobbies included gardening, and cooking, however her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Creech of New Iberia; daughters, Paula Viator Derouen and husband Cagle of New Iberia, PaulLynne Fortin of Phoenix, Arizona; son, Paul 'Joey' Viator and life partner Craig Manuel of Scott; step daughter, Cindy Kay Creech of Pine, LA; sister, Earline R. Bourque of New Iberia; grandchildren, Lynn Broussard of Phoenix, Lon Ray Broussard of Tacoma, Washington, Andrea 'AJ' Menard of New Iberia; 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and 3 step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Onezipe and Andrea Lopez Romero; first husband, Paul Viator, Sr.; brothers, Ewell Romero, Freddie Romero, Stanley Romero; sister, Eunice Romero Gary; grandson-in-law, Daniel W. Menard. Pallbearers include Lon Broussard, Dustin Broussard, Cagle Derouen, Pete Derouen, Mark Bourque, and Gervis 'Butch' Bourque. Honorary pallbearers include Paul 'Joey' Viator, Craig Manuel, Dylan Menard, Ryan Menard, Tristan Menard, and Curtis Romero, III.
