Valex Taylor Jr.

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April 8, 2005, at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Valex Taylor, Jr., 76, who died Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at his residence in Arnaudville. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. He is survived by his wife, Angella R. Taylor of Arnaudville; two sons, Nelson J. Taylor and Dale J. Taylor, both of Arnaudville; two daughters, Debra A. Taylor of Esterwood and Gail A. Taylor of Lafayette; three brothers, Louis Taylor of Baton Rouge, Harris Taylor and Taylor Taylor, both of Arnaudville; one sister, Ella Mae Daigle of Butte LaRose; and four grandchildren, Cody J. Guidry, Joshua J. Guidry, Dayla M. Taylor and Brody G. Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Valex Taylor, Sr. and Edna H. Taylor; and four brothers, Resnaire Taylor, Dalton Joseph ""Me"" Taylor, Evans ""Frarre"" Taylor and Raymond Larry Taylor. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2 PM - 10 PM on Thursday and continue at 7 AM on Friday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7 PM Thursday. Pallbearers will be Taylor Taylor, Harris Taylor, Cody Guidry, Joshua Guidry, Jeremy Knott and Donovan Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Nelson Taylor, Dale Taylor and Randy Knott. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
