Velma Noel Broussard

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Velma Noel Broussard, 74, who died Wednesday, August 30, 2006 in Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include her sons, Russell Broussard of Houston, TX, Anthony Broussard, Tommy Broussard and Henry Broussard, all of Breaux Bridge; her daughters, Norma Broussard, Jeanelle Broussard, both of Breaux Bridge and Doris Charles of Dallas, TX; her brothers, Allen and Adley Noel, both of Breaux Bridge; her sisters, Hilda Martinez, Rose Noel, Virgie Green, and her husband, Louis, all of Breaux Bridge and Barbara Joseph and her husband, Larry of Houston, TX; twenty-one grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Narry and Beatrice Calais Noel; her husband, Dudley Broussard; her sons, Jimmy and Royce Broussard; her sister, Rita Soloman; and her grandson, Anthony Broussard, Jr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2006 and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Carver & Dauterive Street is in charge of arrangements.
